Welcome to the First Annual Charity Wiffle Ball Tournament at Little Fenway West to be held Sept. 7, 2019!
FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! (Bring your cheer squad!)
You have been chosen by me as a potential Team Captain who will lead the charge to assist us in raising funds for the tournament by building a team to participate in the tournament. This years charity is going to be for Pediatric Cancer. Some details may change but here is a rough plan to start.
- Tournament Day & Time: Saturday September 7th from 9am to 6pm
- Eight (8) Teams playing in tournament single elimination format BUT tournament champion will be part wins/ losses AND the amount of money raised. Seven games total (with championship game) and then a Homerun Derby at end of games with prizes.
- 9-12 players per team (9 fielders to rotate but all batters hit)
- NO charge for players to participate but they will be expected to attempt to raise donations via an email/link forward that makes it so easy for the team member to recruit dollars and easy for the donations to be paid on-line in a secured process similar to PayPal or Venmo.
- Lots more information to follow but wanted to lock up the 8 teams & captains now – think social & corporate teams, e.g. Fire Department, Serrano Country Club team, El Dorado County Sheriff’s team, large family team, Church team, etc.. etc. First eight to be Captains are in! DO IT NOW!!!
