Why a Wiffle Ball size version of Fenway Park in the beautiful California Sierra Foothills?
I would love to say that it was my original idea to build the Wiffle Ball field but it actually came to me from the original "Little Fenway" located in Essex Vermont. This 25% version of the original Fenway Park has raised over $4 million dollars for charities since its inception in 2001. My goal is to replicate what Pat O'Connor (the owner of Little Fenway) has accomplished in Vermont at my 10 acre "River Rock Ranch" in Northern California's beautiful Sierra Foothills.
In addition to Little Fenway West my plan is to host children with critical illness at the ranch and develop it into a place that they and their families can forget about their sickness. We currently are developing the Little Fenway West Wiffle Ball field, a 2,000 square foot baseball museum /game room with a pool table, ping pong, foosball, skeeball and next to Little Fenway a Bocce Ball Court, Corn Hole, Horseshoes, Beer Garden, basketball court and sand volleyball court. And of course, they can ride our pony "Cloudy".
A ¼ scale replica of the actual Boston Red Sox world famous Fenway Park.
The pitcher’s mound, home plate and all three bases are all actual game used from the real Fenway Park (all acquired from the Red Sox) …our second base was stood on by none other than Mike Trout who had hit a double at the game the day the base was used.
Our Green Monster stool/seats are actual game used seats from the original Green Monster at Fenway we acquired from the Red Sox after they were replaced/ retired in 2016!
